In this release of the Insight management software, a number of enhancements have been made to assist operators managing Concept 4000 installations. New features include:

The Insight Communicator optional module has been added. This module allows you to automatically send customisable pager, SMS and e-mail messages in response to Insight Review events.
- Prioritise, apply message to a particular template based on definable rules
- Templates can determine format of content as well as the media over which a message may be sent
- Messages can be scheduled

• The default database platform (for new installations) has been upgraded from MSDE to MS SQL Express 2005

• Microsoft Vista is officially supported

• New commissioning reports have been added to Insight Edit

• With the purchase of Advanced Reports, Insight Edit's reports include filtering.

• Any Advanced Report can now be generated automatically in response to an alarm.

• New Door Access Reports added to the Advanced Reporting Module.

 

• Added support for the new IR-Secure 40 card format from Inner Range.

• Version 6.2 Concept Firmware Support:
- Touchscreen Terminals can be configured and are added as new modules
- Floor & Lift names have been added
- External modems can now be used & configured

• Dynamic User Import Module (formerly Hotel PMS Tool) has been improved with:
- New GUI interface; Also supports a new .INI file structure
- Support for Virtual Panel
- Card Pool Integration

• A new resizable user info dialog, aka Photo ID User Verification Screen, is available for immediate alarm actions (ideal for guards watching a door). This requires the Photo ID Licence.

• Alarms can be acknowledged automatically (This option would often be used in conjunction with the Photo ID User Verification Screen)

• New licensing options have been added to allow:
- A (dongled) remote client to connect to an Insight server
- A (dongled) remote Installer client licence can be used by Installers to help reduce on-site callouts

• Panel Connections can now be scheduled to occur automatically.

• On request, Inner Range can provide a licence key that will reset the Installer password
