New RF Expander Module
Inner Range have recently released a LAN based RF Expander module to compliment the range of modules already available. This module is capable of receiving upto 50 RF Fobs (memory config dependant) and 32 individual transmitters. This module uses Visonic Powercode and CodeSecure devices. Each device is learnt to a specific module so overlapping is not an issue on multiple RF Expander sites. The RF Fobs have 4 individually programmable buttons that can be set to: arm/disarm area or area lists, turn on/off or toggle aux's, set an input into alarm, or even to qualify another button press to prevent accidental operation. There is nothing worse than fiddling for something in your pocket and accidentally arming the system or setting off a duress.
A per module low battery warning can be sent to the monitoring station, but individual low battery warnings for each device are recorded in panel review to make for easier locating of offending devices.
(Requires V5.10 and above firmware to operate)

User Definable Site Codes
Locked out of taking over a site because the customer is using a proprietary site code format? That’s just where the new User Definable Site Codes option available only in firmware V4.5 comes into play.
With card data that is sequential from Most Significant bit to Least Significant bit, you are now able to specify the number and position of site code and card number data through the ‘GENERAL’ option in System Options Programming (Menu 7-5-1). The maximum data length definable is 40 bits (15 characters); the maximum site code length is 19 bits (10 characters); and the maximum number of card bits is 16 (5 characters) which allows up to 65,536 cards.

Ethernet Uart Card
Inner Range have released a UART board with a single or triple serial connection and one Ethernet Connection. The Ethernet connection removes the requirement to add a third party device when connecting the Concept 3000/4000 panel to an IP Network when using the newly released Insight software. This means connection to panels across the country or even the world is easily achieved by using the internet connection servicing the building or department.
(Requires Panel Firmware V5.20 and above)
A systems administrator guide is supplied with the UART board to help answer those niggly network problems related to firewalls. It should answer all the questions a system admisistrator is going to ask before he lets you add the panel onto his system.

Terminal Interface Module
The Terminal Interface LAN Module provides an external interface to the Concept 3000/Access 4000 Control Module using simple scripting type programming. Until now, the practice of creating an interface between the Concept system and other software applications and devices has required the involvement of proficient software developers. The release of the Terminal Interface LAN Module, however, now allows the development of relatively simple applications which, in affect, send terminal keystrokes to the Concept system. Suitably competent Installers and System Integrators can now create their own system control applications for use with computer programmes, touch screens, embedded controllers and other devices.
These applications open up a broad range of possibilities within many different market segments, but are especially suited to the Home Automation market. The Terminal Interface LAN Module is compatible with all Concept 3000 / Access 4000 firmware versions, its scope of features determined by the functionality and messages available in each particular version of firmware. Full installation and programming documentation can be found under manuals in the Tech Support pages.
