Aperio is a wireless access control technology that radically reduces the installation time and cost of installing electronic access control. Aperio cylinders replace traditional mechanical cylinders and contain a wireless transceiver and a card reader. Aperio communicates wirelessly with a “Concept 4000 Aperio door controller” which can be installed in the roof above the door. No drilling or door wiring is required during the installation.
Reduce costs: As no drilling or door wiring is required, installation time is radically reduced and thus the total cost of supplying an access control door is reduced.
Long battery life: The Aperio battery life is designed to sustain 40,000 openings. This would typically involve a time between battery changes of greater than two years.
Simplify installation: As the Aperio cylinder is designed to replace traditional mechanical cylinders, installation requires no complex cutting or routing.
Features:
The module supports two Aperio Doors (ie two Aperio hub/cylinder pairs)
The module supports a separate RS485 Aperio LAN Hub 1 and Hub 2 (set by dipswitches on the Aperio hubs) are seen as reader 1 and reader 2 on the Concept 4000 Aperio reader module
The door locks on the Concept 4000 Aperio Reader module are Rxx:X01 and Rxx:X04 for Door 1 and 2
All Concept 4000 system programming is identical to the programming used for traditional wiegand readers.
